Joan M. Minguet Batllori

Professor of History of Contemporary Art and History of Cinema at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He has published more than twenty-five books in these fields, some of which are: Segundo de Chomón. The cinema of fascination (2010); Joan Miró (2008); Buster Keaton (2008), Salvador Dalí. Cine y surrealismo(s) (2003) or Cinema, modernitat i avantguarda (2000). He has also been the curator or collaborator of various exhibitions: Salvador Dalí, lletres i ninots (Museu Abelló, 2001); El Manifest Groc. Dalí, Gasch, Montanyà i l'anti-art (Fundació Joan Miró, 2004); L'art del risc. Circ contemporani català (CCCB, 2006); Joan Miró. The ladder of the escape (TATE, 2011); Dalí (Centre Georges Pompidou, 2012); Barcelona, zona neutral, 1914-1918 (Fundació Joan Miró, 2014).
At present, he is the President of the Catalan Association of Art Critics (AICA-Catalonia).
