Marina Hervás Muñoz

She obtained her BA degree in Philosophy in 2010 and M. A. in Arts Theory the following year at La Laguna University.Currently she is a PhD candidate in the Aesthetics department at Autonomous University of Barcelona on a grant of the FPU (Formación de profesorado Universitario) fellowships program of the Educational Minister. She was awarded in 2011 with the First Prize in Humanities and Social Sciences in the Arquimedes National Contest for researchers by the Spanish Educational Minister. As a second bachelor degree, she studies History and Music Sciences at La Rioja University which will end up in 2014. Besides, she took an education in the Musical Professional Studies in the speciality of violin in 2011. She writes several music reviews and academic articles in different national magazines. She also joined several national and international conferences. Her main research interests are Critical Theory Studies, Philosophy of Music, Adorno Studies and German Idealism and its relationship with contemporary thought.
