Luciana Lyrio

Multidisciplinary artist. Luciana lives and works in Río de Janeiro and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Visual Arts from the Escola Guignard (part of the Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais, Brasil).
She participated in several artist residencies and some international exhibitions such as Religare Art (Nez Delhi, India, 2011); Centre d’Art La Rectoria (Barcelona, Spain, 2009); Omi International Art Center, (New York, US, 2008); All Art Now Festival, (Damascus, Syria, 2010); and the DUMBO Art Now Festival (New York, US, 2008).
Asher Miller, the curator of the Metropolitan Museum of Arts of New York, awarded the second place for her work when it was shown in The Barret Art Center (New York, 2008).
She has participated in numerous individual and collective exhibitions in her homeland Brazil.
